About our trainer

Meet Dr. Karl Merkley
Dr. Karl Merkley is a distinguished expert in finite element analysis (FEA) and meshing software, who has worked on Cubit development at Sandia National Laboratory and at Coreform. Dr. Merkely earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University and spent many years as an adjunct professor there. He has spent decades using, developing, and improving Cubit and Coreform Cubit. Currently, he serves as a Senior Consultant at ITI, Wipro, in Ohio.
