New mesh generation software from industry leader, csimsoft.

AMERICAN FORK, UTAH, January 2, 2012 — Computational Simulation Software, LLC (csimsoft), a worldwide provider of pre- and post-processing tools for generating meshes for computational fluid dynamics and finite element analysis, announced the release of the latest version of their flagship pre-processor, Cubit 13.1.

“This latest version of Cubit raises the bar for pre-processors,” said Randy Morris, csimsoft’s managing director. “Cubit 13.1 provides CFD and FEA users with the tools they need to generate high-quality meshes that produce better results.”

Cubit 13.1 offers many improvement over previous versions of Cubit, including improved geometry creation and cleanup, new material and boundary condition options, and additional import/export capabilities. For more information, see coreform.com.

History of Cubit

Cubit began as a research project at Sandia National Laboratories in the early 1990s and is based on industry-standard algorithms developed by Ted Blacker and Michael Stephenson. In 2004, Michael Stephenson and other members of the development team formed Computational Simulations Software, LLC to provide Cubit technologies to non-government entities.
