Coreform Cubit Licensing

The annual lease ensures that your organization is always using the latest technology. As new versions become available, you will automatically receive a release notice and be able to easily update your software. When your license expires, simply renew your lease. Coreform will never auto-renew licenses.

All commercial Coreform Cubit licenses are floating licenses.
A floating license allows use by any authorized user, up to the number of concurrent licenses purchased. For example, one floating license allows one person to use Coreform Cubit at a time, while multiple users may access it as licenses are available.

Licenses are Coreform-hosted by default. If your organization prefers to host its own license server, self-hosting is available on request.

How licensing works

All Coreform Cubit licenses are floating licenses. This allows any authorized user to run Coreform Cubit, up to the number of concurrent licenses purchased. For example, one license allows one person to use Coreform Cubit at a time. Licenses are hosted by Coreform by default. For organizations that prefer to manage their own license server, self-hosting is available on request.

• Using a Workstation as License Server. Coreform Cubit can be installed and activated on a computer that is visible to other computers over the network. This computer acts as the license server. Then, Coreform Cubit can be installed on other network computers.
• Using a Network Server as License Server. The Coreform Cubit license manager can be installed and activated on a network server. Then, Coreform Cubit can be installed on other network computers.

NOTE: The Coreform Cubit license is activated on the license server and controls the number of concurrent users. Network computers do not need to be activated.
